Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Award-winning revenue turnaround Chief Operating Officer with an outstanding track record. Amaka Tesy Michael is a graduate of Business Administration and Management, and also holds an MBA from the prestigious Business School of The Netherlands. She has never been afraid to break new ground and demonstrated strong leadership in a male-dominated organisation. This explains why she is the first female African General Manager of Swiss International in the world, and an Award Winner at the African Times Magazine Awards. With several years of professional experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel manager in four-star hotels and some of the finest brands in the world, she is recognised by guests and stakeholders.

Emmanuel Okorie

Commercial Director

Emmanuel Okorie is a graduate of Business Education (Marketing, BSc) and a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. He has a track record of breaking new ground: he was the opening Sales Executive for Protea Hotel Garden City and helped bring the new property into the limelight, rising from Sales Executive to Food and Beverage Manager in less than three years. He joined Swiss International Mabisel Port Harcourt as Sales & Marketing Manager, and Swiss International The Vistana, Lagos as Operations Manager and then Commercial & Revenue Manager. He has also managed several new non-branded hotel properties as Hotel Manager, and is now the Commercial Director of The Vistana Hotels & Residences.
